Will was exposed to music from an early age with his father playing keyboards in such bands as Magnum and Whitesnake. Despite playing the guitar and drums Will decided on a different route and started DJing in 1998. Listening to the Love Groove Dance Party on Radio One kick started his love for house music. Seeing DJs such as Mousse T, Louie Vega, David Morales, Brian Tappert, Eric Morillo and Yousef further fuelled his love for the music. Upon moving to Bristol during 1999 Will gained his first residencies.
