Alacran means Scorpio. Ignacio Egana – lead vocal, bass Oscar Lasprilla - guitar, keyboards Fernando Arbex – drums, percussion, guitar Oscar Lasprilla and Fernando Arbex had previously played in the well-known Los Brincos, who had broken up after their excellent “World, Devil, Body” album (1970). Alacran was apparently a short-lived project, recording an album for demo purposes and then simply disappearing. The album had a short playing time of 26 minutes.
