HE IS THE BEST; WE LOVE HIM Hilbert founded a musical band called The Future with his brother, Kieran, and the drummer, Maik Buchwald, when he was twelve years’ old. Together with the saxophonist, Frank Bannohr, they toured Germany under the management of Hilbert’s father, Erwin Hilbert, until Udo Lindenberg took the brothers into his Panikorchester and gave Erwin an administrative job. At the same time, Lukas and Kieran Hilbert founded the rock band Hauden & Lukas, and Lukas began writing songs with Lindenberg.
