Northland is a melodic death/folk metal band from Barcelona, Spain. The idea of Northland was born in 2004, though the band actually began to play in 2007. After the split-up of their previous band, Pau, Sergi, Jonatan and Cristian descided to continue the Northland project. Guzman and Eric completed the line-up. Cristian soon left the band for personal reasons and was replaced by Dani. In November 2007 they released their demo Freezing Sadness.
