Bear McCreary
Bear McCreary родился 17 февраля 1979, Форт-Лодердейл, штат Флорида. Сын писательницы Laura Kalpakian и профессора Jay McCreary из университета штата Гавайи. Имеет ирландские и армянские корни. Учился у известного композитора Elmer Bernstein в школе музыки USC Thornton. За это время он реконструировал и записал саундтрек к фильму Короли Солнца (Bernstein's 1963 score for Kings of the Sun). Беар - пианист и аккордеонист-самоучка, и играет в авангардной джазовой команде 17 Billion Miles of DNA. Женат на Raya Yarbrough, с которой он работал над музыкой Battlestar Galactica.
